SPRING is just around the corner and honestly, what's spring without flowers? Because I have a shoot coming up, I thought I'd make a floral crown to match the boho look we're going for, but it also reminded me of Taylor Swift's amazing photoshoot for 'Red' at the same time. If you haven't seen the pictures, check them out here. Taylor's maturity may be questionable but ya gotta admit. She's gorg. 

Anyways, thought I'd share with you all the finished products of my labor with a couple Insta pics and a DIY tutorial :D I wouldn't necessarily wear these on a casual day out but it's definitely fun to sport for a shoot here and there.

baby steps

As I will officially be a college girl next year, I decided it's time to move on from Forever 21 and Target shoes to bigger brand, better quality ones. So, I was absolutely ecstatic when I saw this package by my door that I just could not wait til morning to get better lighting for these pictures. But anyways, good or bad lighting, these babies are perfection either way. They're a nice staple piece to have in your closet, they have a modest heel for you to take a break from your sky high stilettos, and....they were on sale. Let's all take a moment to appreciate Zara's work of art.

Merry & Bright

Nordstrom cardigan

Don't you think poinsettias just epitomize the holidays? I think so. Besides the peppermint mocha frappe coming back onto the Starbucks menu and seeing Christmas lights everywhere, it still hasn't struck me that Christmas is just around the corner.  School lets out in less than a week so maybe it'll hit then, but it never fails to amaze me how fast time flies.

But right now, I hope your days are especially merry and bright : ) Til next time
